KOOLA Art Space offers 1 or 2 week long the exhibition times. Please note that the exhibition period includes installation and dismantling. You can read the full artist info here.

Included Services

• Publicity: Comprehensive social media campaigns will be executed to promote the event. The event will be listed in prominent event calendars to ensure maximum visibility.

• Supervision: The gallery provides supervision. Gallery is open 4 days a week and supervised by the KOOLA staff. Extra supervision dates are available at €50 per day.

• Sales: The gallery does not take any commission on sales made during the exhibition. Artists are responsible for handling the execution of sales transactions, including the movement of funds.

Exhibition Durations and Pricing

KOOLA Art Space is a non-profit organization. The exhibition fees are used solely to cover the costs of the exhibition space. Supervision and all other services are provided through voluntary work.

1-week Exhibition Price: 225e

2-Week Exhibition Price: 395€

• Submissions are open: 15.2.2025-15.3.2025. Deadline is 15.3.2025 3pm but decisions may be made earlier. We only process submissions sent through the submission form that include the required attachments. Please note that we do not accept Instagram or Facebook links as portfolios.

• Information of the Artworks: We process only applications that are made through the application form, arrive on time, and have all the specified attachments. Please provide a brief artist statement and exhibition concept along with your submission. Include a portfolio and cv link. If you do not have an online portfolio, you can send images of your works and your cv via email to koolartspace(at)gmail.com Use message title Portfolio.

• Artwork Specifications: Submissions can include wall-mounted works or sculptural pieces suitable for display on pedestals. Audiovisual works are also welcomed. Please note that artists must provide their own technical equipment (screens, projectors, sound systems, etc.) as the gallery does not have any technology available.

• Eligibility: While we particularly welcome submissions from emerging artists and international artists based in Finland, the open call is inclusive and open to artists of all backgrounds and artistic disciplines.

Exhibitions are held at the KOOLA art space in Kallio, located at Pengerkatu 9.

Our gallery is a beautiful and compact space with a front wall that is entirely a window. The space is approximately 24 square meters in size, with a total of around 30 square meters of hanging area: about 4.6m x 3m on two walls and about 1.8m x 1.8m on a hanging panel for lighter works.
